Life is busy. We all get that. I'm thankful for busy...erm, most of the time. At least that's what I tell my family when they visit and shake their heads in confusion at the chaos big city life brings. Sometimes though, I find that busy gets cluttered. And, I don't do well with clutter. One recent blustery day, I decided to de-clutter...
As the story goes...It all started with two Vancouver moms pushing strollers on the seawall, two hungry, tired, and wet babies...and two hours of sitting on the wet grass, wishing for some gear that was better suited to life on the go.
At the very core of Milk Factory Designs was the birth of the SpillProof Blanket and its smaller sibling, the SpillProof Change Pad. These two products represent one of the biggest changes in my life. A change that was good. Great in fact. Fast forward six plus years and my first SpillProof Blanket is still going strong. We even had a little indoor picnic on said blustery day...the carpet stayed clean and dry, and the boys and I had a nice break from the usual dinner table routine.
Over the years, many of you have shared your stories and love for the blanket. It is by far the favorite and most coveted Milk Factory product. And, it's here to stay with a new, lower price of $75. They're back in stock now in red, smoke blue and dark grey. If there is a color that you are simply dying to have, drop me a line and we'll see what we can do.
Also back in stock, and with a new nickname, color and price is the SpillProof Change Pad. The "Multi-Mat" now available in orange, is also at a new lower price - $25. Plus, starting tomorrow, Saturday, April 10th at BirthFest, when you buy both a mat and Grab 'n Go Bag, we'll toss in a sample size Bum Bum Balm by Dimpleskins Naturals...a magical, all natural balm for baby's bum.
So where is this de-cluttering I mentioned? *deep breath* It is with a mix of trepidation and excitement that I announce that it's time to say good-bye to the current collection of Quick Wick Activewear. As hard as it is to let it go for now, it's time for a change but I need time to make that change...and change is good...
Effective tomorrow, at BirthFest only, I will be clearing out ALL Quick Wick Activewear...til it's gone.
The deal? Well, it's good...but you have to be there to get it. Included in the clearance sale will be some original Quick Wick - long and short sleeved tees in sizes from 6-12 to 5T, in discontinued colors like black with pink stitch, black with blue stitch, navy with pink stitch, navy with white stitch, red, white, white with pink stitch.
Running a live sale in conjunction with an online sale is uber-clutter so I apologize but I can only do one at a time. The sale will continue online starting next week, and in the studio for the remaining Fridays in April (16th, 23rd and 30th) from 10 - 5.
Once the clutter is gone, I'll be able to update you about Quick Wick's future.
