Apple. Moxie CrimeFighter. Blue Angel. Rocket. Gulliver. Fifi Trixibell. Pilot Inspektor. Hot new movies? Nope, just a few of the crazy baby names put out there by those wacky celebrities. Yes, BABY names.
Luckily, back here in the real world, Gina Allen, has come to the rescue of the soon-to-be-named with her 'Fresh Baby Names ' e-book. In her search for a name for her son, Beckam Tao (pictured right - Vancouver Sun, May 10, 2008 - note the head to toe Milk Factory gear - that was a fun surprise for us!), Gina found browsing books with sometimes over 10,000 names overwhelming. Her research for a name turned into a business idea and a condensed version of the stacks of books that are already out there. Over 1500 names (including some wacky celebrity picks) are beautifully presented in a download-able e-book.
Bonus material includes an Astrology Section ~ see your baby's personality traits, according to their sign; 100 most popular names for 2006 and 2007; a Workbook Section ~ designed to keep track of all your picks and narrow down your favorites, while keeping it FUN; and some helpful tips.

This is one I heard sitting in a Starbucks - Sam Francis Coe (as in San Francisco, where the parents were from). Running across celebs' names, Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily caught my eye, as well as Jamie Oliver's kids - Poppy Honey and Daisy Boo.
